Each user in ELMA can create a business process improvement proposal, and to be its initiator, participant or responsible. There are several ways to create a process improvement proposal:
on any page of the Improvements subsection of the Processes section.

When you click Improve (fig. 1), a window for creating a process improvement proposal opens (fig. 2). Select the process you need to improve, specify the subject, state your proposal and click Send.

On the page of any task of the process you need to improve. When you click Improve in a task toolbar (fig. 3), a window for creating a process improvement proposal opens (fig. 4).
In the opened window, fill in the fields and click Send.

When a user creates a process improvement proposal the Business Process Improvement process starts. The user, who made the improvement proposal becomes the initiator of this process instance. Next the process is executed in the system as any other process. The subject of the improvement proposal is used as the process instance name (fig. 2, 4).
