Tasks

ELMA tasks allow controlling execution of assignments. Tasks can be parts of a business process, or independent assignments.
You can configure the Tasks module in Administration – Basic Applications – Tasks (fig. 1).

Configure general parameters of assigning and controlling tasks in Tasks Settings.
Specify the system object types, on which users can submit time reports, in Time Report Objects. These objects include calendar events, tasks and so on.
In the Time Report section, you can configure the time report parameters.
Create task categories for grouping them when searching in Task Category.
Create employees activity types for grouping time reports and evaluating employees performance in the Activity Type object.
You can configure access to the Tasks module in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Global Access Settings (fig. 2).

Permissions Personal Time Reports Approval, Time Reports Administration, Require time reports, Edit the “Shared Filters” tree of the “Time Report” section refer to time report settings.
Access to "Tasks" - user groups, whose members can create and work with tasks.
Access to KPIs of all employees from the “Company” section - user groups, whose members can view the value of Schedule Compliance (total number of timely executed tasks) and of Number of Tasks (number of active and overdue tasks) in the Company section.
Access to "Resolving Tasks" portlet - user groups, whose members can add the "Resolving Tasks" portlet to their main page.
Create/edit tasks for a past date - user groups, whose members can select past dates in the Start Date and Due Date fields of a task, and edit such tasks.
Edit the "Shared Filters" tree - user groups, whose members can add, edit and delete filters of the filter tree.
Tasks export - user groups, whose members can export the list of tasks to an Excel file.
