An ELMA user can control a task. All the user roles can do it. A task can have only one controller.
Assign and complete control
To assign a controller, click Control on the task creation page. The Completion Check field will be added to the task creation page (fig. 1), where you have to select the controller and the control type. Note, that the current user is added to this field by default.

Control Type:
Notify when Completed – when the task is completed, the user will receive a notification about it. The controller is only informed, that the task is completed, and cannot approve/reject the result.
Completion Check – when the task is completed, the user will receive a notification about it. Information on the task after its execution is displayed in the Completion Check section (fig. 2). This control type suggests checking the task completion only after the executor clicked Completed on the task page. The controller can reject the task completion.
Task monitoring – when the task is completed, the user will receive a notification about it. The task information is displayed in the Task Monitoring section (fig. 3). This control type suggests monitoring the whole task progress. When the task is completed, it is moved to the Completion Check section. The controller can reject the task completion.
Notify me when the task is completed – notify the author, that the task is completed:
Yes – send a notification.
No – do not send a notification.
