Document Storage


Document storage is a centralized document and folder storage that provides quick access to the required information and the possibility to work with documents.
Fig. 1 illustrates the document storage.

Units in fig. 1:
1. Left menu, with the file tree.
2. Top menu, with buttons for managing folders and documents.

Toolbar Buttons

Click Document to open a pop-up window for creating a document.
Click to open the drop down menu, allowing you to:
Click Folder to open a pop-up window for creating a new folder.
Click to open the drop down menu, allowing you to:
Click Actions or to open the drop down menu, allowing you to:
Click Selected or to open the drop down menu, which allows you to:

List of documents with the search form

The work pane of the documents section is under 3 in fig. 1. It includes the document search form and the table with folders and documents in this directory.
The table can contain the following objects:
folders;
– "File" type documents;
– links to documents.
To the left of the Name column is the context menu button - - and the button (if the document has versions).
You can configure the table.
To open a folder page, click its name. To open a document page click its name.

Group Object Actions

You can select multiple documents, folders or links in the document storage (fig. 2) by checking their boxes.

To quickly select all the objects on the page, check the box in the top row of the table. This button has a drop down menu, in which you can select the required object types.
After you have selected the objects, you can use group actions to them with the top menu buttons.
