Configuration export and import are mainly used during implementation or improvement of the system. For example, when process improvement is performed in a separate testing environment, export and import of configurations is used to transfer the changes to the production server.
During configuration export, you can select the system objects to export. The exported configuration is saved in a file of the following format <File_Name>.elma3. You can import this file to another ELMA server.
To export or import a configuration, go to the main menu of ELMA Designer, open the Configuration section and click either Export Configuration or Import Configuration, located under Current Configuration (Fig. 1).
