Some public channels are configured so that users can subscribe to them and receive messages or cancel the subscription.
By default, such public channels are not displayed in the tree of channels and users do not receive messages. The public channel group page (fig. 1) includes the following buttons:
– subscribe to the channel and receive its messages. If this button is displayed, the user is not subscribed to the current channel. When you click this button, the selected public channel appears in the tree of channels in the left menu.
– cancel the subscription to the channel. If this button is displayed, the user is subscribed to the channel. When you click this button, the selected public channel is removed from the left menu.
