ELMA allows viewing folders and documents created by other users, if you have access permissions. It ensures quick access to the required information. By default, a user's superior (according to the company's organizational structure) has access to all documents and folders available to their subordinates.
There are several levels of the access permissions:
View/Load – access to view a folder/document, as well as to download versions (download document versions from ELMA to your computer). Editing is not available.
Edit – access to view the document/folder, download versions, create new document versions, edit attributes and delete the folders/documents, created by current user.
Manage permissions – manage access permissions of other users. Granting Full Access is not allowed.
Create document – access permissions to create a new document in the current folder. This level is available only for folders.
Full access – full access permissions. All the other permission levels are selected automatically with this level.
When setting access permissions, you can make documents inherit the permissions of the parent folder. For more information about inheriting parent permissions, see the respective Help page.
