Configuring Interfaces in ELMA Designer
Attention!
This feature is available in ELMA 3.8.0 and higher.
|
Usually, pages and portlets are created in Web Application. However, if you need to implement a more complex logic for pages and portlets, use the Interface tab in ELMA Designer. This feature also allows adding pages and portlets to BPM Apps (you cannot add pages and portlets, created in Web Application).
You can work with user portlets and pages on the Interface tab in ELMA Designer (fig. 1).
Portlet is a plug-in component of the user interface in ELMA Web Application.
By default, this tab has no portlets and pages (fig. 1).

By default, this tab displays two empty folders: Portlets and Pages, with the
icon. The portlets and pages you create are automatically added to these folders. Portlets have the
icon, and pages have the
icon. You can create sub-folders in each folder, which allows grouping portlets and pages.

If a group is collapsed, it has the
icon, if expanded, it has the
icon. To collapse/expand a group, click the icon to the left of the group.

The list of user portlets and pages is also displayed on the Forms List panel. By default the panel is collapsed (fig. 1). To expand it, place the mouse cursor over it (fig 3).

Attention!
|
You can add the portlets and pages, created in ELMA Designer, to ELMA Web Application. You can change the set and location of portlets in the page settings, and select the information they display in the portlet settings. You can also add the created portlets and pages to BPM App at step 8 of creating a BPM App.
You can configure pages in Administration – Portal Settings – Pages. To learn more, see the respective Help section.
Searching in the list of pages and portlets
You can search in the list of reports on the Interface tab of ELMA Designer. The search in this section is similar to the search in the process list.
