Form Actions

Creating a Form

You can create a form on the Forms (Views) tab of an object page. There are three ways to do it (fig. 1):

Enter the form name in the opened dialog box and click OK (fig .2).

Next, the Forms tab will open, where you can model the form. To learn more about modeling forms, see the respective Help section.
Attention!
To apply changes and display them in Web Application, save them and publish the object.

Editing a Form

To edit a form, open the Forms (Views) tab of the object page (fig. 3) and:

Next, the Forms tab will open, where you can model the form. To learn more about modeling forms, see the respective Help section.
Attention!
To apply changes and display them in Web Application, save them and publish the object.

Deleting a Form

You can delete only user forms, which are not used in other objects. To delete a form, open the Forms (Views) tab of the object page (fig. 4) and:

After deleting a user form, the standard form will be used for displaying this object in Web Application.
Attention!
To apply changes and display them in Web Application, save them and publish the object.

Restoring a Form

In ELMA Designer, you can restore default forms for system objects. It allows resetting changes in the standard (system) forms, made by users.
You can restore only system forms. To restore a form, open the Forms (Views) tab of the object page and click Restore Original Form in the context menu of the required form (fig. 5). Confirm restoring in the opened dialog box.
