Periodic Event Template

 
The periodic event template provides a user with quick access to the information about each periodic event from the series. After the creation of a periodic event, all participants receive a notification in their messages section (Figure 1).

When clicking the message subject, the Periodic event template page opens (fig. 2).

The page of the periodic event template contains two tabs: About Event and Events.
On the About event tab, you can see the following information: the subject, date, location, periodicity of the event, as well as the list of participants, etc.
The history panel of the periodic event template includes four buttons:
Comments – click to display comments on the event.
Questions - click to display questions about the event.
Attachments - click to display all files that users attached to the periodic event template when creating, leaving a comment, asking or answering questions concerning the event.
Actions - click to display the history of actions with the periodic event template.
The Events tab displays a list of event instances with brief information on each of them: subject, place, author, start date and end date of the event (Figure 3). To open the event page for a specific date, click on the name of this event.

Template toolbar

This button allows making changes to the periodic event template. When you click on this button, a warning appears, informing that changes will affect all instances of this event (Figure 4). To continue, click the Change template button. The editing form of the periodic event template opens, similar to the event-editing page. All instances of the given periodic will be changed.
Delete the event template with all its instances. When you click this button, a warning appears that all instances of this event will be deleted (Figure 5). To confirm, click the Delete template button. This will delete the event template and the history for each instance of this periodic event.
 
Add a comment to the periodic event template. Comments to the periodic event template are displayed in the history panel.
 
Ask a question concerning the event. Questions and answers one the event are displayed in the history panel.
The set of buttons in the top menu of the page can vary depending on the user's role (all buttons of the top menu are available to the author).
