Activity Types


Time reports can be grouped by activity type. It allows evaluating workload of your employees. You can create the list of activity types in the Activity Type object (fig. 1). You can find the object in Administration - Basic Applications - Tasks, or in the Objects section, Tasks group.

To delete an object item, click the button near its name. The confirmation box will open (fig.2). To confirm deleting, click Yes. To cancel deleting, click No.

To edit an object item, click the button, near its name. The item editing page will open (fig. 3). A similar page opens if you click Create on the Activity Type page (fig. 1).

Name - the activity type name, displayed in the drop down lists for selecting an activity type.
All Object Types - the switch, which defines whether this activity type will be available for all the object types, or only for those, in the Object Types field.
Object Types - this field contains the list of time report object types, for which you can select this activity type. This field is available only if you selected No in All Object Types. To add an object type to the list, click Add Object Type. The Add Object Types dialog box will open. This dialog box contains the time report objects (fig.4). Select the time report objects you need. To complete adding objects, click Select. To cancel adding, click Cancel.

To save changes, click Save on the activity type item page (fig. 3). To cancel the changes, click Cancel.
