Absence Schedule


You can manage the absence schedule in Administration – Users – Absence Schedule if you have respective permissions. The permissions to work with this section are assigned in Administration – Access Settings – Global Access Settings – Absences Administration.
The Absent Employees page (fig. 1) contains the absence search form, and a data table, you can configure.

You can perform actions with the absent employees with the context menu button, to the left of the absent user name in the Absent Employee column.
Use Substitution – assign a substitution for the absent user. When you click this button, the Assign Substitute User page opens, with automatically filled Substituted, Start Date and End Date fields. Next, fill in the other required fields and click Save. To learn more about substitutions, see the this Help section.
Edit – edit the absence information. When you click this button, a page, similar to the absence creation page will open, where you can make required changes and click Save.
Delete – delete the absence. When you click this button, the absence is deleted.

Search Form

The absence search form is at the top of the Absent Employees page (fig. 2).

To find information about absent users, fill in the fields of the search form and click Find. The table will display the list of absent users, according to the parameters. To reset the search form, click Reset.
Absent Employee – field for selecting the absent employee. You can select only one user at a time.
Status – drop down list for selecting the absence status: "Active" or "Cancelled".
Start Date, End Date – range of dates of the employee's absence.
When you create an absence, the absent user keeps receiving messages, tasks, notifications, etc.
If an employee is absent, you will see a corresponding notification next to user name, when:
Even if an absence is created for a user, other users can still assign tasks to the absent user, add him or her to events, meetings and calls and perform other similar actions.
