Form File Preview is an activity that allows generating preview for files in ELMA faster. This activity is especially relevant for documents with much information (big files).

If you use this activity, file previews will be generated instantly in processes.
To generate a preview using the Form File Preview activity, place it in the process graphic model, where you need file preview to be generated. You can find this activity on the elements panel of the process graphic model in the Plug-ins unit.
To open the settings (fig. 2) of the Form File Preview activity, double click on it on the graphic model or select Settings in its context menu.

Name — Activity name, displayed in the graphic model, process documentation, process policies and in the header of the settings window. This name is also given to the transition button leading to this activity in Web Application, if the connector that represents this transition in the graphic model does not have its own name.
On this tab (fig. 3) you can add one or several context variables to generate preview for. These variables can be of any type (system or custom) that can contain documents, existing in the system (e.g., File, Attachment, etc.).
