Menu Settings
ELMA allows configuring the top and the left menus. Menu settings include:

assigning access to standard menu items;
-
adding new menu items;
-
deleting menu items.
There are several ways to start editing a menu:

If the edited menu is used in several interfaces, the changes you make will be applied to all the interfaces. To edit a menu, click Continue editing (fig. 3). To configure the menu for a particular interface, create a separate menu for this interface and configure it.

Reset the menu settings. When you click this button, the menu becomes standard, as in the default interface.

When you mouse over a menu item, additional buttons are displayed (fig. 4).

Add a menu sub-item.

Cancel all the settings of this menu item and its sub-items.

Copy this menu item to another menu.

Delete the menu item and all its sub-items.

Adding a menu item
Editing a menu item
There are two ways to edit a menu item:

click
to the right of the menu item.
The dialog box for editing the menu item will open. Make the necessary changes in this dialog box and click Save.
Access to a menu item
To assign access to a menu item, click
to the right of the item name. In the opened dialog box, add a user group or an organizational structure item that will have access to this menu item (fig. 5).

Menu items are displayed in the interface in the same order, as on this page. To move a menu item, drag it to the required position in the list (fig. 6).
Copying a menu item
To copy a menu item, click
. In the opened dialog box, select the menu, to which this item will be copied, and click Copy (fig. 7). If the menu item has sub-items, they will be copied as well.

Menu register
Menu register is the list of all the created menus. The main and the left menus have different registers.

Menu page
To view a menu page, click the menu name (fig. 10).

Menu page includes the following information:
Name.
Description.
To edit menu parameters:
-
click
in the menu register, to the right of the menu name;
-
click Edit on the menu page;
Make the required changes on the opened form (fig. 11).
Creating a menu
To create a new menu:
-

The created menu has no items, therefore, you have to create and edit menu items. To do so, click Links on the menu page (fig. 14).
