Process Life Cycle

In the Processes section of the Publishing tab of ELMA Designer, all the business processes are divided between four tabs according to their statuses:
Draft - the last process version modeled in ELMA Designer, saved but not published.
Outdated - the process version previous to the published one. A process can have an unlimited number of outdated versions.
Completing - the process version previous to the published one and still used in a process instance in Web Application.
Deleted - deleted process versions that have no active instances in Web Application. Process models are not deleted from the database so you can restore them if necessary.
Statuses of process versions change according to the Process Life Cycle (Fig. 1). It is displayed in the Processes section of the Publishing tab of ELMA Designer.

The Life Cycle diagram shows how version statuses are changed. It also shows the number of processes that are using the version with the current status. If you click on the block that features a certain status, you will see the list of all the versions with this status.
