You can set a reminder for calendar events and tasks start and end. If the reminder is set, the system will send a message to the user, reminding about the event or task start.
The reminder is marked with the icon, to the right of the event or task start date (fig. 1).

Each user can set and configure a reminder.
If a reminder is set, to the right of the icon you will see the time before the event start, when the reminder will be activated (fig. 2). If a reminder is not set, nothing will be displayed near the icon.

When creating a reminder, specify the time before the event start, when the user will receive the reminding message.
Set an Event Reminder
To set an event reminder, click the icon. A dialog box for creating a reminder will open (fig. 3).

This dialog box contains a switch with two options:
Relative time (fig. 3) – this option allows specifying a time before the event start, when the reminder will be activated. Select the number of units and the measurement units in the remind in: field. The date will be set automatically. To set a reminder, click Add.
Absolute time (fig. 4) – this option allows specifying an exact date and time of the event reminder. To set a reminder, click Add.

The reminder will be displayed in the dialog box above the fields (fig. 4).

Several Reminders
You can set several reminders for an event in ELMA.
To do so, set the first reminder, stay in the dialog box, click Add and set other reminders. Thus, you can set the required number of reminders. The reminders will be displayed in the dialog box above the fields (fig. 5).

The event page will display two nearest reminders (fig. 6).

The system will send messages to the current user, according to the set reminders.
Old Reminders
Old reminders are displayed grey in the dialog box above the fields (fig. 7).

Delete a Reminder
To delete a reminder, click , to the left of the reminder.
Reminder Message
The system will send a message to the user, who set the reminder, at the specified time (fig. 8).
