Main page is the ELMA web portal start page, displayed after the user has signed in to the system or when clicking the main menu button (fig. 1, unit 1). The set of main pages in the top right corner allows the user to organize quick access to information.
To start working with ELMA Web Application, look through the main page. The main page contains the system navigation and management elements and tools for configuring personal settings of the page display.
Main Page Structure
The main page includes four menus and the contents.
Fig. 1 illustrates an example of the main page.
1. Main menu
This menu allows:

creating tasks, messages, documents, calendar events, calls, meetings, mail, time reports and starting processes;
-
quickly opening any of the system main subsections.
To open the main menu, mouse over the ELMA logo in the top left corner. The main menu button will appear to the right of the logo (fig. 2).

Mouse over the appeared blue button to open the system main menu (fig. 3).
To hide the main menu, click the grey background area outside the menu.
When you mouse over one of the system sections (e.g. "Tasks", "Documents", "CRM"), the buttons for opening their subsections appear. For example, in fig. 3 the cursor is over the "Tasks" section. Click the required subsections to open it.

Click the Task button to open the task creation page.
Click to open the drop down menu, which allows:

3. User menu
The user menu is at the top of the page. To expand this menu, click the expand button.

When the user menu is expanded, it contains two items.
Profile. Allows you to open the user profile. In the profile, you can edit the user's personal information, manage trusted devices and more.
Sign Out. Allows you to sign out of the system and sign in with another account.
To the right of the user menu are two buttons: customize main page and Help.
– Help. This button opens the Help page on the currently open system section.
4. Left menu
ELMA system includes several sections. By default, the left menu contains four sections: Messages, Tasks, Calendar and Documents. Other sections are displayed depending on the left menu settings, current user permissions and applications, activated on the ELMA server. Due to this, the left menu may be different for each user.
As you go to different sections, the menu may change, but the current section is always highlighted yellow. The main menu button is also always available.
Messages
This section contains all the incoming and outgoing messages and available public channels. You can send messages, mark messages as read, configure exceptions and message priority, and delete messages.
Tasks
This section contains different task groups: incoming, outgoing, periodic, time reports of the current user, their department's tasks and tasks archive. You can create, open and work with tasks. You can also search tasks.
Calendar
This section displays all the events, added to the calendar. You can create new events, create and schedule tasks, create reminders about a call, mail or meeting. You can print the calendar. You can view calendars of other employees (with the respective access permissions) and assign access to your calendar.
Processes
This section contains all the user's processes, the process monitor, improvements, and documentation. You can view and search business processes.
Documents
Reports
This section displays the list of reports, available to the user. With access permissions, you can create reports. The system administrator assigns access to this section.
Objects
This section contains the list of the system objects. By default, users can view all the objects. Only users with access permissions can edit the objects. The system administrator assigns access to this sections.
Each section of the left menu is described in the respective Help sections.
You can resize the left menu by dragging its separator strip. To collapse the menu, click the blue button with an arrow. In this case the menu will look like in fig. 6 – only the sections icons are visible.

If the page contains a lot of information (you need to scroll down to view it), in the bottom left corner of the page you will see the button, which allows quickly getting back to the top of the page.
5. Set of main pages
This set displays the list of available main pages. To open the required page, click its name.
Users, who have permissions to configure the set of main pages, can use the button. To configure the set of main pages, click . Fig. 7 illustrates the collapsed settings menu, and fig. 8 – the expanded settings menu.

The expanded menu of the set of main pages has two available items.
Add Page. Allows creating a new main page.
6. Page content
A portlet is an interchangeable plug-in of the user interface in ELMA Web Application. You can configure the portlets location, by clicking Settings in the top right corner, near the user menu.
