Portal settings in ELMA allow you to customize the interface for user roles. It provides users with quick access to the frequently used information and actions.
Fig. 1 illustrates an example of the Portal Settings page.

By default, the Portal page displays:
Interfaces – ELMA section, which contains the list of all the interfaces, created in the system, and allows creating new user interfaces;
Pages – ELMA section, which contains the list of the portal pages, and the possibility to create new functional pages;
"Advanced" Unit – by default, this unit is collapsed. To show its content, click its name. Click it again to hide the unit's content. The Advanced unit includes:
Portlets – ELMA section, which contains the list of the system portlets, and allows configuring them on the system level;
Action Registry – ELMA section, which contains the system actions registry, and allows quickly opening the selected action.
The Configure the interface unit is at the top of the page. It allows to enable the portal configuration mode. This mode allows you to view the interface being configured, change the user, who views the page and configure separate areas of the interface.
To enable the portal configuration mode, click the Enable button, in the right part of the Configure the interface unit. After you have enabled the mode, the page will look like this (fig. 2):

To disable the portal configuration mode, click the Disable button, in the right part of the Configure the interface. To learn more about the interface settings, see the respective Help section.
