ELMA Designer

The ELMA Designer application allows you to model the organizational structure and business processes, adjust the object model, set up a KPI model, create reports and so on.

Only users with corresponding access permissions can work in ELMA Designer. The access permissions are managed by the administrator in Administration - Users - Access Settings - Global Access Settings - ELMA Designer - Access to ELMA Designer. For more information on access permissions read the respective Help page.

ELMA Designer can be downloaded from the user profile page. You will find it in the Downloads section.

The header of ELMA Designer displays the information on the connected server:

ELMA Designer version;
configuration name;
address of the server, to which ELMA Designer is connected, as http://<ELMA_server_address>:<port> ;
login of the user, who signed in to ELMA Designer;

The features of ELMA Designer are divided between several tabs (Fig. 2).

	Menu – Features the main menu of ELMA Designer (Fig. 1).
	Organizational Structure – Organizational structure and its versions are managed on this tab, as well as the system user groups.
	Processes – You can create, edit, copy, delete business processes on this tab.
	Objects – All objects in ELMA are managed on this tab.
	Document Management – Document types and record card types are managed on this tab. This tab is only available if the ECM+ application is installed.
	Projects – On this tab, you can manage project types. This tab is only available if the Projects+ application is installed.
	KPI – On this tab, you can manage the KPI model. This tab is only available if the KPI application is installed.
	Reports – On this tab, you can work with system and user reports.
	Interface – On this tab, you can manage custom portlets and pages. This tab is available for the version 3.8.0. and later.
	BPM Apps – On this tab, you can work with BPM Apps. This tab is available for the version 3.8.0 and later.
	Scripts – On this tab, you can work with process scripts and custom activities.
	Publishing – This tab features tools for publishing system elements, as well as information about the current publishing status.
