Installation of a Free Component
Attention!
Further information applies only to ELMA 3.7.0 and higher. Component installation is available starting from version 3.7.0

On the opened page (Fig. 2), click Install to start installing the component. If you want to download the component to a local PC, click Download. A configuration file with .elma extension will be downloaded to your computer. You can then import it into the current configuration of ELMA Designer.

After you click Install, a dialogue box will open. It provides information about requirements for proper installation and operation of the component (Fig. 3).

If the requirements are satisfied, click Continue. The sign in window of ELMA Designer will open (Fig. 4).

You need to select a configuration or create a new one (Fig. 5). After that, enter your login and password and sign in to ELMA Designer.

If you need to install a BPM App and have a downloaded .elma3 file, open the BPM Apps tab of ELMA Designer and click Install (fig. 6), in the toolbar. The component installation procedure will start.

Once you sign in to ELMA Designer, the installation process begins.
Installation of ELMA components consists of several steps. Use the

buttons to switch between the steps. To stop installation, click
.

Step 2. Checking configuration export file
At this step (fig.7), ELMA checks the configuration file, selected at the first step. The check may take a while, wait until it is complete. After the check, this dialog box may display information, warnings and error messages.
The guide for setting up the component, attached to the ELMA Store component (at step 10 of creating a BPM App), is available at the second step of component installation (fig. 7). Before installing the component, read the guide and check the respective box. You will not be able to continue the component installation without it. If necessary, you can save the guide to your computer.

Other guides attached to the component become available after it has been installed. By default these files are in the folder: ../<ELMA directory>/UserConfig/Store/<Component Name>/<Component Version> (fig. 8).
