Forms

The Forms tab of the process page features all the forms created in Form Builder for the current process.

The list shows the Form Name and the elements where this form is used. The text shown in the Where used field is formed by template of the following type: "{Swimlane name} - {Element name}". The values in braces are replaced by corresponding names on the graphic model. This way you can see, in which element a form is used.
The Form Name is created by the same template as the text in the Where used field, but you can modify it in the form editing window.
Child Forms
A child form is based on a form that already exists. In the form list, it is placed under the parent form with an indent (Fig. 3).

Child forms share the parent form's settings and fields, which were set up before the child form was created. What is more important, after a child form is created, it also inherits all the new fields and settings of its parent form. However, a child form can also be modified in Form Builder. If an inherited field is modified, it will stop inheriting the changes which are made to the parent form.
Child forms come in handy when a process uses various forms that are very similar and only differ by insignificant details.
Child forms can be nested. This means that one child form can be the parent form for another child form.
