To create a business process, open the Processes tab in ELMA Designer. You will see the list of all currently available processes.

Next to each process name, you will see the process icon . If processes are combined into a group, next to a process group you will see the folder icon . When a group is collapsed, icon is shown next to the folder icon; click on it to expand the group and view all the items it contains. In the Fig. 1 the Sales Processes group is collapsed.
When a group is expanded, the icon appears next to the folder icon; click on it to collapse the group and hide the items it contains.
The and characters also appear next to a process icon if the process includes internal sub-processes. In the screenshot above the Leave Request process includes a sub-process.
The published processes which have saved but not published changes are in bold type.
The process list also displays the following data:

Version – The latest published version of the process.

Visibility – Shows if the process will be displayed in the list of processes that users can start in Web Application. If this parameter is set to No, the process can be started only from the ELMA object page and with appropriate settings.

Allowed to start – Shows if users have permissions to start the process in Web Application.

Author – The user who created the process. The author name does not change even if other users modify the process
-
Date created – The date and time when the process was added to the system.
-
Date modified – The date and time when the process was modified in the system.
-
Date published – The date and time when the current version was published in Web Application.
Toolbar and Context Menu of a Process List
To perform operations with processes and process groups use the toolbar at the top of the Designer window, or the context menu. To open the context menu, right-click in the process list.

Actions available for bulk-selecting list elements
While working with a list of processes, you may need to perform one action on several items. For this purpose, you can select several items from the list at the same time (fig. 3).

In order to choose several successive processes from a list, click on the first process that you want to choose, and while holding the Shift key, click on the last process.
In order to choose several non-successive processes, click on one of them while holding the Ctrl key and choose all the necessary processes.
When you bulk-select elements, these actions in the context menu become unavailable:
If you click the Delete button, all the elements from the list will be deleted. Please note that if you cancel deleting, the elements are not deselected.
In ELMA, you can search processes in the list. To start searching, open the
Processes tab of ELMA Designer and press
Ctrl+F. The search string will appear (fig. 4).

Enter a process name or a part of a name. The search results will be displayed below the search string (fig. 5).

To return to the full process list, clear the search string.
To close the string, click
next to it.
