Modeling a Process

A business process model defines the ways in which operations are carried out to accomplish the intended objectives of an organization, for example, make a profit or gain influence.

Modeling processes in ELMA BPM Platform allows you to describe the process visually and to organize work in accordance with the process model.

To start working with business processes in ELMA:

Start the Process Wizard and specify the initial data of the process.
Go to the process page and fill the business process model with the content (create a graphic model, add context variables, configure the responsibility matrix).
Debug the process using the check and debugging features.
Publish the business process.

Moreover, for each process, you can configure additional features, for example, custom forms; scripts that automate some process tasks; policies; metrics and KPIs of the process and its instances.

ELMA BPM Platform not only allows you to model new processes but also to improve existing ones.
