ELMA tasks have different statuses, depending on their life cycle stage.
Below is the list of statuses of a simple task.
1. New – a new incoming, outgoing or reassigned task. The status is acquired when you click Save in the toolbar, after creating or editing a task or when you click Actions - Reassign.
2. Read – a read new incoming task. This status is acquired after the task has been opened.
3. In work – a task in progress of execution. The status is acquired when you click In Work on the task page.
4. Pending Pre-approval – a task, pending pre-approval. This status is acquired when the author sends the task for approval.
5. Pending approval - a task pending approval. This status is acquired when the user sends the task for approval.
6. Approved – an approved task. The status is acquired when the approver clicks Approve button in the toolbar on the task page.
7. Pre-Approval Rejected - a task that was sent for pre-approval and rejected. The status is acquired when the approver clicks Reject on the task page.
8. Rejected – a rejected task. The status is acquired when the approver clicks Reject on the task page.
9. Completed – a task, completed by the executor. It can be under control while having this status. The status is acquired when the executor clicks Completed on the task page.
10. Completed and Checked – a completed and checked task. This status is acquired when the executor and controller click Completed on the task page.
11. Cannot Execute – the task executor decided that the task execution was impossible. It can be under control while having this status. The status is acquired when the executor clicks Cannot Execute on the task page.
12. Cannot Execute and Checked – a task that has not been executed and has been checked. This status is acquired when the executor clicks Cannot Execute and the approver clicks Completed on the task page.
13. Closed – the task is cancelled by the author or a user with corresponding access permissions that are assigned by the administrator in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Global Access Settings – Tasks – Access to all tasks. For this status to appear, go to the task page and click Actions – Cancel Task in the toolbar. This status can also be given to a task for reassigning active tasks of a locked user, given that this task has not been completed by the time the user is unlocked.
