Events

Events represent something that happens in the course of a process. Events affect the process flow and usually have a trigger or a result. They can start, delay, interrupt or end the process. Depending on the event position in the graphic model, they can be divided into:
The Start Event shows where the process begins. By default, the user represented by the swimlane with the start event becomes responsible for the process instance execution. In the swimlane settings you can specify job positions, groups of employees and user groups whose members can start a process. The Start Event can have only outgoing connectors.
Intermediate Events indicate where something happens after a process has started and before it has ended. In the event settings you can specify what happens if the events is triggered. The number of the Intermediate Events in the process is unlimited.
End Events mark where the process ends. When the process reaches an End Event, it is completed. An End Event can have only incoming connectors. The number of End Events in the process is unlimited.
