Creating a Message


There are several ways to create a message in ELMA:
In the opened window (fig. 1), fill in the required fields and click Send Message.

Subject * – enter the message subject. This field is required.
You can send a message to specific users, a custom user list, an organizational structure element or to a public channel.
Toselect one or several recipients of the message from the drop-down list or by clicking .
Channels – all the public channels, available to the user, are displayed here. Select the required channels, if necessary.
Message – enter the message text.
Attached Files – attach files from the local PC or an external drive.
Attached Documents – attach ELMA documents to the message. Use the following buttons:
– select a recently created or used document;
– search a document;
– create a document
- remove an attached file/document or clear all attached files/documents. When you click on this button, a dialog box opens, where you need to select a further action:

Note
A file or a document is removed only from the comment attachments! The file remains on the external media and the document remains in ELMA.
