The user time report is stored in the time report log on the task page.
When you create a time report, the time report items from the time report log over the specified period are added to it. Note, that the time report items on one task will be grouped in the time report according to the specified settings.
Add a time report when completing a task
To add a time report when completing a task, click Completed on the task page and fill in the fields in the opened dialog box (fig. 1), Time Report unit:
Time Spent – the time, spent on the task execution.
Start Date *– task execution start date. This field is required.
To add a time report, while executing a task, click Actions - Add Time Report Item on the task page and fill in the fields in the opened dialog box (fig. 2):
Time Spent *– time, spent on the task execution. This field is required.
Start Date *– task execution start date. This field is required.
Comment – comment to the added time report.

To save changes, click Add.
Time Report Log
After you have added a time report, the task page displays the Time Report Log tab, which contains all the time reports on this task (fig. 3).
If the submitted hours have the "Pending approval" or "Rejected" status, they will be displayed on the Time Report panel.

Time Report Log – this panel displays the time report submitted by the users from the task page (via the Actions – Add time report button), as well as approved time report on this task, submitted on the time report page.
Require Time Reports
You can make the Time Report field required for some users in ELMA. When you use this function, the user cannot complete the task without adding a time report to it.
The system administrator enables this function in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Global Access Settings – Tasks – Require Time Reports.
When you fill the Time Spent field, at least one drop down list must have a non-zero value. When you attempt to save such a report in the Completed dialog box, a warning is displayed (fig. 4) and you cannot complete this task.
