Periodic event is an event that repeats with a defined periodicity. Periodic events are automatically created in the calendar for all the participants. Periodic events are automatically created in the calendar with the specified frequency and the specified template for all participants.
Creating a Periodic Event
To create a periodic event, click Periodicity (fig. 1) on the event creation page. The Periodicity field, which allows defining the event periodicity and its end date, will be added to the page.

Start date – start date and time of the first event.
End date – end date and time of the first event. It is not the end date of all the instances of the periodic events.
The periodicity drop-down list allows you to select one of the following values:
(do not repeat) – the event will not be repeated. This is the default value;
On working days (according to the business calendar) – the event will be created every working day (from Monday till Friday);
Every day (regardless of the business calendar) – the event will be created every day, regardless of the weekends and holidays;
Every week – the event will be created every week on the weekday, when it was created;
Every month – the event will be created every month on the date, when it was created;
Every quarter – the event will be created every three months on the date, when it was created;
Every year – the event will be created every year on the date, when it was created.
The second drop-down list allows you to select one of these values:
Complete – stop repeating the event on the selected date. Specify the date in the appeared field.
Do not Complete – repeat the periodic event until it will be manually completed.
Editing a Periodic Event
To edit a periodic event, click Actions – Edit (fig. 2) on the event page.

In the opened Edit an event dialog box, select the object to edit: change all the event instances or edit the current instance (fig. 3). In both cases the event editing page will open (fig. 1), where you can make changes and click Save.

Change All the Instances – the changes will affect the entire chain of events. All the following events in the chain will be created according to the changes you made.
Change the Current Instance – the changes will affect only the current event. All the following events in the chain will be created without the changes you made.
Deleting a Periodic Event
To delete a periodic event, click Actions – Delete (fig. 4) on the event page.
In the opened Delete an event dialog box, select the object to delete: delete all the event instances or delete the current instance (fig. 4).

Delete All the Instances – delete the entire chain of events.
Delete the Current Instance – delete the current event. All the following events in the chain will be created regardless of this deleted event.
