Adding a new document version with Drag-n-Drop
In ELMA you can create document versions using Drag-n-Drop (fig. 4), i.e. by dragging a file from the file manager of your operating system to the page of an ELMA document.
Fig. 4. Adding a document version with Drag-n-Drop
To create a document version with Drag-n-Drop, open the file manager on your computer and the page of the document in ELMA, to which you need to add a version. In the file manager select the required file and drag it to the document page in ELMA (fig. 4).
After you have dragged the file, the system will suggest making the new document version the current version. In the opened window (fig. 5) check the box next to the version and click Make Current.

If you click Close, the added version will receive the Draft status. If you add several versions at the same time, you can check the box next to the required version to make it current.
Changing Document Version
When you change a document version, the previous version file is replaced with the new one. In this case, the previous version is not saved and its file is not available. If you need to store all the changes, use the add new version feature.
To replace a document version, click Change Version in the context menu of the required version on the Versions tab (fig. 6).
