Default Filters


"All" is a default filter, which displays all the data in the section. If a user needs to get filtered data when opening a section, it is possible to set a filter as a default filter. There are two types of default filters:

Custom default filter

Each user can select a filter and set it as a custom default filter. When opening a system section, the filter results will be displayed.
To set a filter as a custom default filter, open the page for editing the filter tree, mouse over the filter and click (fig. 1).

A custom default filter has bold font in the filter tree (fig. 2).

Now, when opening the Contractors section, the filter results will be shown (fig. 3).

To configure a custom default filter, select another filter or the All filter as the default one.

Default filter for all users

A filter can be set as the default filter for all users. When a user opens a system section, the results of the default filter will open, unless a user has a custom default filter.
To set a default filter for all users:
To set a default filter for all users, open the page for editing the filter tree, mouse over the required filter and click (fig. 4).

A default filter is marked with the icon on the page for editing the filter tree (fig. 5).

Now, when any user opens the Contractors section, the filtering results will be displayed (fig. 6).

To edit a default filter, select another filter or the All filter as the default one.
