Basic Applications


You can configure ELMA basic applications in Administration – Basic Applications.
Fig. 1 illustrates an example of the Basic Applications page.

By default, the Basic Applications page displays:
  • Common Calendars – allows configuring common calendars, used for scheduling.
  • Tasks – allows configuring task categories and time reports.
  • Public Channels – allows configuring public channels, used for company's messages and news.
  • Reports – allows configuring access to the system reports. You can configure global access settings of the Reports section in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Global Access Settings, Reports unit. To learn more about global settings, see the respective Help section. Access permissions to the published reports are assigned in Administration – Users – Access Settings – Reports.
  • Portal – allows configuring user pages and menu items. You can configure the ELMA portal (interfaces, pages, portlets, action register) in Administration – Portal Settings.
