Adjust Approval Route Activity
This activity allows you to configure the approval route for the documents. The routes are created in the
Objects section of the web application or while executing the
Adjust approval route task. To configure access permissions to view, edit, delete and export items of each
Object, go to
Administration > Users > Access Permissions >Objects. Users configure created routes in the web application.
In the business process model, the
Adjust Approval Route activity must be placed before the
New Approval Sheet activity and before the
Business role swimlane, since only
Business role does not require per select certain users. Using this activity before the
static and
dynamic swimlanes is not advisable, because in this case the list of users who will perform the approval task will be defined in the swimlane settings and it will be impossible to change it during the process execution. An example of the correct use of this activity is shown in Fig. 1.

As a result of this activity, the document is sent for the approval in accordance with the selected route. Learn more about the approval stages, in the respective
Help section.
Adjust Approval Route Settings
To set up this activity, double click on it shape in the process
graphic model. The settings window will open which contains tabs, described below.
Common tab
The Common tab is shown on the fig. 2.

This tab is similar to the Common tab of the Send for Approval activity. Select the context variable that stores the approval route for the document. Using the Add Variable button, you can add a context variable with the predefined data type. This is the required field. The rest of the settings are similar to the Common tab of the Send for Approval Activity.
Context tab
The Common tab is shown in the fig. 3.
