Acquaintance

This activity creates a document acquaintance task in Web Application. You have to connect the Acquaintance activity with either New Acquaintance Sheet or Send for Acquaintance activity, using labels or the context variable of the Acquaintance sheet type.

Executors of the task are defined by different means, depending on the swimlane, in which the activity is.

Dynamic or static swimlane:

by users of the swimlane, in which the Acquaintance activity is. Connect the Acquaintance activity with the New Acquaintance Sheet activity, using a label or the context variable of the Acquaintance sheet type.

Business role swimlane:

by the context variable, selected on the Common tab of the Acquaintance activity. Connect the Acquaintance activity with the New Acquaintance Sheet activity, using a label or the context variable of the Acquaintance sheet type.
by users, selected in the send for acquaintance task. Connect the Acquaintance activity with the send for acquaintance activity, using a label or the context variable of the Acquaintance sheet type.

Settings of the Acquaintance activity

To configure the activity, double click on it on the process graphic model (fig 1). Activity settings page will open, which includes several tabs (fig. 2).

Common. This tab is similar to the Common tab of the Send for Approval activity;
Documents. This tab is similar to the Documents tab of the Send for Approval activity;
Context. This tab is similar to the Context tab of the Send for Approval activity;
Execution Time. This tab is similar to the Execution Time tab of the User Task activity.
Digital Signature Settings. This tab is similar to the Digital Signature Settings tab of the Approval activity.

Using the Acquaintance activity in different swimlanes is similar to using the Approval activity.

The settings of an Acquaintance activity outgoing transition are similar to those of the Approval activity, with the only difference that an Acquaintance transition does not have the Transition Status parameter and the Sign Document option.
