If there is a routing process available, the Start Process button will be displayed on the document page (fig. 1). You can start a routing process only if there is a process assigned to this document type.
3. After that, a form for starting a document routing process opens (fig. 2).

In the Process field, select the required route and click Send. You can create several routing processes for each document type. This field displays only the processes assigned to this particular document type. (fig. 3).

standard Start Process window has a required process instance name field (fig. 4). If the process instance name template is not configured, this field is automatically filled in with the document name. In this case, you can change the name of the process instance, if necessary;

if process instance name is generated from a template, you will the Start Process window without the process instance name field (fig. 5). The name template is configured by the administrator in ELMA Designer. In this case you cannot change the name of the process instance.

Start Process window with fields for inserting context variables (fig. 6). A process description and the list of required context variables are configured in the start event settings when modeling a process in ELMA Designer.

Fill in all the required fields in the start process window (fig. 4 – fig. 6) and click Start. If the process has an instance name template, the instance name will be hidden from the form and it will be impossible to change it.
When you start a document routing process, an instance of the chosen process will start and the additional Business Processes section will be displayed on the General Information tab (fig. 7).
