Document Type Attributes

Document type attributes are fields of different data types, which contains information on the document type.
Document attributes are displayed on the Attributes tab of the document type page (fig. 1).

The table with attributes on this tab is similar to the table on the Context tab of a process page, only without the Input and Output checkboxes.
Base attributes of the document are grouped in the Base Properties unit. The unit is collapsed by default. To expand/collapse it, click on its name.
Attributes on this tab have the following color scheme:
  • attributes inherited from the base document type are blue. These attributes can be deleted or edited only on the base document type page. If the base type is a system type, the attributes cannot be deleted or edited.
  • default attributes, created by the system are green. These attributes are UIDs, which define the document type in the system. These attributes cannot be deleted or edited.
  • attributes added when creating or editing the document type are black. They can be deleted or edited.

Document attribute page displays information on the current attribute (fig. 2).

To open a document type attribute page:
  • double click on the required attribute;
  • select the required attribute and click Edit in the top menu;
  • select Edit in the context menu of the attribute.
Document attribute page is similar to the object property page.
