Register Document
This activity creates a document registration task in Web Application. Executors of this task are defined by the swimlane, in which the activity is.
Settings of the Register Document activity
To configure this activity, double click on it on the process graphic model (fig. 1). The page of this activity will open, which consists of the following tabs.

Common tab
This tab is similar to the Common tab of the Create Document activity. However, it also features the Calculate the document type by the document in the task box (fig. 2)

If you check this box, the document type will be identified automatically, based on the type of the document, attached to the task.

On this tab you can select the record card type and configure registration help for this document type in the registration task.
To select how to define a record card type, click Change Value (fig. 4):

Not Defined – if this option is selected, a standard record card of this document type (defined in a category settings) opens in Web Application, when executing the document registration task.

Define Document Flow – when executing the registration task, a record card of this document flow opens in Web Application.If you select this option, you have to select the document flow, whose record card will open when executing the registration task. To do so, click Change Value in the Document Flow unit (fig. 5).Fig. 5. Button for selecting a document flow

Document Registration Variant – if this option is selected, a document registration variant will be used, when executing the registration task in Web Application. You have to select the registration variant on this tab. The list displays all the registration variants, available for the document type, selected on the Documents tab (fig. 6).Fig. 6. Automatically give permissions for registration office in the selected variant - if the user, who receives the registration task does not have access permissions to the registration office of the selected document registration variant, the permissions will be assigned automatically, if this box is checked. This box is displayed only if the Document Registration Variant option is selected.
Show from Record Card Type – select this option, if registration help is configured in the used record card type.
Select Document – when you select this option, you have to specify the ID of the document, which contains help on the registration task.
Configuring outgoing connector from the Register Document activity
The Register Document activity can have multiple outgoing connectors with the following statuses: Not Set, Default Action, Cancel operation.
The outgoing connector of the Register Document activity is set up as a standard outgoing connector, but it has the Transition status parameter (fig. 7).

After you click the Change Status button, a dialog box opens where you can select the status for the outgoing connector (fig. 8)

Not set - the process flow will go down this connector if the document is registered.
Default Action - the process flow will go down this connector if a user has used the Register button on the upper toolbar to register a document.
Cancel operation - the process flow will go down this connector canceling document registration. If you choose this option, in the dialog box (fig.7) you will be able to select the checkbox Check if the required fields are filled in. It allows a user to complete the task in the web application after specifying all the required context variables on the task form.
The name of the button for completing the task in the toolbar (fig.9) is similar to the name of the outgoing simple connector set up in ELMA Designer.
