The field contains the name template for the documents of this type, which is specified at the fourth step of creating the document type. You can change the template. To use a document type attribute in the template, click Insert Document Attribute and select the required one.
Loading a version from file – this parameter allows uploading a file from the user's PC as a document version. When this box is checked, the Load File button will be displayed when creating a document of this type in Web Application (fig. 2).
Version scan button – this parameter defines if a scanned document can be used as a document version. When this box is checked, the Scan button will be displayed when creating a document of this type in Web Application (fig. 2).
Generate versions from template – this parameter defines if a document version can be created from a particular template. When this box is checked, the Add Template button will be displayed when creating a document of this type in Web Application (fig. 2). This button will be displayed only if at least one document template is defined.

Advanced Settings unit
Dispatch tracker – this parameter defines if dispatch of these type of documents will be tracked. When this box is checked:
the Mark as Dispatched item will be added to the Actions button of the document page (fig. 3);

documents not marked as dispatched are moved to Records Management – Outgoing – Unsent;
context variables of the document type process will be visible in the Send Documents activity on the Documents tab;
new document type attributes will be created:
Dispatch Status – attribute with the Enumeration type. Contains the document dispatch status – Sent/Unsent;
Send Date – attribute with the Date/Time data type. Contains the document dispatch date and time;
Sent By - attribute with the User data type. Contains information on the user who sent the document;
Dispatch Type – attribute with the Dispatch Type data type;
Dispatch No. – attribute with the String data type. Contains the document dispatch number, provided by the delivery service;
These attributes must be filled in when you use the Actions - Mark as Dispatched button (fig. 4) or when you execute a send document task.

Allow to register documents of this type multiple times – this parameter defines if documents of this type can be registered several times.
Forbid to create documents of this type in web application – this parameter forbids creating documents of this type in Web Application. You will be able to create documents of this type in a business process using a script or a Create Document activity. Please note that the earlier created documents will not be available for editing on a document page in Web Application.
Use this life cycle for this type of documents – this parameter disables the possibility to change statuses of the document life cycle. When this box is checked:
the document page in Web Application contains a unit with the document status information where you can change the status according to the life cycle settings of this document type (fig. 5);

the Change Status item will be added to the Action button of the document page (fig. 6).

Description unit
In this unit you can add a description of the document type.
Data Structure unit
Class Name, Table in Database – these fields are filled in at the first step of creating the document type. These fields can be changed only for user document types, after they are published and before restarting the server.
