ELMA KPI is mean for automation of KPI control in a company. Here you can align the company´s strategy with with the activity of each employee, and control the activities and performance of employees.
There are several ways to open this section:
click KPI in the left menu of the main page;
open the main menu and click KPI.
This section is available only if you have the ELMA KPI module installed.
Only users with respective access permissions can work in the KPI application. The access permissions are set up by the system administrator in Administration – Application Access Settings – Global Access Settings – KPI Management and/or Administration – KPI – Access Permissions for the "KPI" Module.
Fig. 1 shows how the main page of the KPI section can look like.

The KP section includes:
Start – the main portlet page. The set of default portlets on this page depends on the access permissions that a user has. Also, this set of portlets can be additionally configured;
KPI – this subsection is available to all the users of ELMA KPI. It contains the following pages:
My KPIs – this page shows all the KPIs for which the current is user is assigned as responsible or as supervisor;
Plan + Fact – this page displays all the KPIs, the plan and the fact value of which the user can manage. Permissions to enter the plan and fact values are assigned in ELMA Designer on the user's page in the Responsibility Matrix tab. This page is only available to user groups with certain access permissions;
Grades – this page shows all the grades given by the current user;
KPI – this page shows a list of all the KPIs available to the current user. For each KPI, the page specifies the responsible employee, the periodicity of input, the plan and fact values, the status and the trend;
Me – this subsection features the following pages:
My Performance – here the user can see their performance matrix over a chosen period;
My Responsibilities – this page shows all the KPI system objects that feature the current user as responsible or supervisor: KPIs, goals, activities;
Goals – this subsection features the following pages:
Goal Maps – this page shows a list of all the goal maps available to the user, over a certain period;
Goal Maps Archive – this page shows a list of all the goal maps sent to the archive by the users. To have access to this section, users need specific access permissions;
Activities – this page shows a list of all the activities contained in the system. Here users can add new activities and filter the current activities by specific parameters;
SMART Tasks – this page shows a list of all the SMART tasks for which the current user has access permissions. Here users can add new SMART tasks and filter the existing tasks by specific parameters ;
Goal Tree – this page shows all the goals contained in the system as a goal tree.
Dashboards – the dashboards offer graphical representation of data on the selected KPIs. This page is only available to user groups with certain access permissions;
Company –this page is only available to user groups with certain access permissions:
All KPIs – this page shows a list of all the KPIs contained in the system. Each KPI features a responsible employee, the periodicity of input, selected period, plan and fact values, status and trend. By default, this page is only accessible to the users that belong to the "KPI: Top Managers" and "KPI: Salary Calculation" groups.
All employees – this page shows the performance matrices of all employees;
Employees – this page shows the responsibility matrices of the user's subordinates (those employees, who are below in the organizational structure). This page is only available to user groups with certain access permissions;
Edit – this page shows a list of all the KPIs contained in the system. Each KPI features a responsible employee, the periodicity of input, selected period, plan and fact values, status and trend. This page is only accessible to the users with full access to ELMA KPI;
Matrix Template – this page shows a list of performance matrix templates which can be modified (you can add new templates, change and/or delete the existing templates). This page is only available to user groups with certain access permissions.
The components features in the KPI section can differ depending on the user's access permissions. The access permissions are managed by the system administrator in Administration – Application Access Settings – Global Access Settings – KPI Management and/or Administration – KPI – Access Permissions for the "KPI" Module..
Calendar
The data on the pages of the KPI section is shown over a certain period (day, week, month, quarter, 6 months, a year). This period is specified in the upper right corner of the page and can be modified (fig. 2).

If the current date is within the period, it is written in black. Other periods are written in red (fig. 3). On the right-hand side of the date you can see the icon. Click on it to go to the current date.

The display mode of the period depends on the settings managed by the system administrator in Administration – System Settings – General Settings of the KPI Module.
To switch between periods click or .
Note
If you have selected a month as display mode, then you will switch between months. If you have selected a day as display mode, you will switch between days.
Period settings
To configure the period over which you want to show the data on KPIs, click on the name of the period in the top right corner of any page in the KPI section. In the window that opens (fig. 4) select the required period and click Select After that, all the pages will display data over this selected period.
