Fig. 2. Periodicity creation page
Name – name of the new periodicity.
Description – description of the periodicity.
Type – select the type of the periodicity (day, week, month, etc) from the drop down list.
If you need to use a non-standard period, for example, shifts then select the User-defined type and then in the Periods field select the required period.
Grouping type– in this field you specify how the period to which belongs the created object shall be defined in an ambiguous situation.
For example, if the first day of a week is January and the last day of the same week is February, you have to decide to which month will this week belong:
By start date – the week will belong to January;
By period middle – depends on the fourth day of the week. If it is already February, then the week will belong to February;
By last day – the week will belong to February.
Calendar type – the type of the calendar for the created periodicity:
Business calendar – a calendar that takes into account all public holidays and weekends;
All days – a calendar that does not take into account public holidays and weekends and counts all days as business days.
Order – the serial number of the periodicity in its list. This order will be used in Web Application and ELMA Designer.
Periods – if you have specified the Type as User-defined, then in this field you have to select the required period. The periods in this field belong to the Periods object.
