Data Collection

In the ELMA KPI application, you can configure collection of KPI data from external sources.

There are several ways to collect the KPI data:

manually – KPI values are entered by an employee, responsible for entering the values according to company’s regulations;
by means of configured processes in ELMA BPM;
automatically – ELMA automatically collects the data from internal or external sources.

The settings for automatic data collection are managed in ELMA Designer, KPI tab, Data Collection (fig. 1).

The section consists of two subsections:

Data Sources – here you configure import of data from external systems.
Scheduler Tasks – here you configure the data import schedule.

ODBC data sources

Automatic data collection uses scheduler tasks.
