Dashboard Use Case

Dashboards display KPI data over the current period.
This example presents the Customer satisfaction and revenue dashboard (fig. 1). The dashboard consists of four portlets:
1. The Pie Chart portlet is named Material costs (without the proper value). This portlet displays the Material costs KPI, which represents the expenses on materials. It is calculated for each branch office every month. The Pie Chart portlet shows what part of total expenses each branch office has.
2. The KPI Graph portlet is named Material costs (with the proper value). This portlet displays the Material costs KPI as well, and it also displays the proper value of the KPI along with the values of each branch office.
3. The Bar Chart portlet is named Customer satisfaction level. This portlet displays the following metrics: Number of requests and Number of complaints.
4. The Row of KPIs portlet is named Legal Department. This portlet displays the Won Cases KPI.
This dashboard allows managers to monitor data on these KPIs, get relevant information and make right decisions.
