A SMART task is a task assigned for a particular period (a month) aimed at evaluating additional actions of the employee and affecting the calculation of the employee’s performance (when the required settings are configured).
SMART tasks will be available for users after activation of the ELMA KPI module. A user doesn’t need to have access permissions to the KPI module to be able to create a SMART task.
There are various ways to open a page of a SMART task:

Go to the KPI section – Goals – SMART tasks (fig. 2);

Open the goal map, and in the top menu click the SMART task button (fig. 3). The system will show only those SMART tasks which are aligned with the goals on the current goal map.

In this section (fig. 2), a user can see all the available SMART tasks and their statuses.
To open the task page (fig. 4), click the SMART task subject. The task page shows all the details, such as deadlines, start and end dates, results, etc.
In fig. 5 you can see various sections that contain tables with SMART tasks (number 3). All the tasks are grouped by different criteria. To expand/collapse a section, click the section name.
SMART tasks are grouped into 3 sections:
Last Month shows a list of SMART tasks created in the previous months.
This Month shows a list of SMART tasks created in the previous weeks of the current month.
Next Month shows a list of SMART tasks which will start in the following month.
Searching SMART tasks
Search through the SMART tasks section using the search form shown in fig. 6:
Use the left field to search by the task subject. The search results will show all the SMART tasks whose subjects match the combination of words you have typed in the search field;
Use the drop-down list to search by the goal map. The search results will show all the SMART tasks related to the selected goal map;
Use the right field to search by the executor. In the drop-down list, select the name of the user and click Search. The results will show all the SMART tasks of the selected user.
