Dashboard Examples

In this article, we will give 3 examples of classic diagrams and diagrams with custom display templates of KPI values.

Revenue dashboard

This dashboard (fig. 1) allows tracking dynamics, as well as compare KPI values over several periods. To create this dashboard, the elements of the Diagrams unit are used.

In order to create this dashboard, do the following:

KPI display settings in this example are not changed.
In fig. 3 you can see an example of how a created dashboard is displayed in ELMA Designer.

In order to display the created dashboard in the web application (fig. 1), save and publish the KPI model.

Production dashboard

This dashboard (fig. 4) allows displaying the required values of various KPIs as well as their correlations.
To create this dashboard, custom KPI display templates are used created with the help of information elements and shapes.

To create this dashboard, follow these steps:
1.     Create a dashboard in ELMA Designer and, on this dashboard page on the Diagram tab, place shapes and information elements in the following way (fig. 5):

In this example the following information elements are used: Object Name, Status, Fact Value, Plan Value, Traffic Lights and the Square shape. To learn more about how to add elements to the diagram, read the respective Help page.
To create transitions between objects the Connector tool was used, whereas the captions were added with the Text tool. Read the respective Help page to learn more about the top toolbar. 
2.     Bind the information elements with required objects.
Save and publish the KPI model to display the created dashboard in the web application (fig. 4).

Branches dashboard

This dashboard (fig. 7) allows you to clearly display KPI values in different branch offices. To create this dashboard, use custom KPI display templates created with information elements and shapes as well as images of a map.

To create this dashboard, do the following:
1.     In ELMA Designer, create a dashboard and on the dashboard page on the Diagram tab, add the image of a map. To learn more about how to add images, see the respective Help page.
2.     With the help of information elements and shape, customize the KPI values display template and place them in necessary places.

In fig. 8 you can see an example of how a dashboard is displayed in ELMA Designer.

Save and publish the KPI Management model to display the created dashboard in the web application (fig. 7).
