Example of Performance Matrix Approval Process
Approval/
control of a performance matrix by one user is available on the matrix page in Web Application.
If you need a
performance matrix approved/controlled by several users, you can model a business process.
This process includes the following specific elements:
-
-
input variable of the Performance Matrix (object)
type (fig. 1).

Fig. 2 shows the graphic model of the Performance Matrix Approval process.
Fig. 2. Performance Matrix Approval process
In this example, a performance matrix is approved by the CCO and the CEO. If the CCO rejects the performance matrix, the initiator will receive a notification. If the CCO approves the matrix, then it is sent for approval to the CEO. Once the CEO has approved the matrix, its status will change to Approved and receive a notification.
Using the performance matrix approval/control process in Web Application
To be able to use the process, you need to open the
performance matrix template, find the
Approval field, check the Enable box and select Business Process approval type. In the Approval Process field, select the required process from the drop down list. This list displays only those processes, which have an input variable of the Performance Matrix (object) type (fig. 3).

In the same way, you can add a performance matrix control process in the
Control unit.
After that, the performance matrix will display the Start Process button (fig. 4). When you click on this button, a performance matrix approval/control process instance starts.
