Project Portlets

Project page is a portlet page, with a default set of project portlets (fig. 1), which cannot be deleted by users. Only the system administrator can delete the portlets. The set of portlets depends on the user roles and general settings, configured by the system administrator. You can add other portlets to the project page.

The following portlets are displayed for the administrator, project manager and supervisor: General Information, Project Plan, Project Messages, Project Documents, Budget, Project Risks, My Project Tasks, Project Tasks from Me.

General Information portlet

This portlet (fig. 2) displays the general information on the project: stage, start and end dates, manager and roles. You can add reminders to the project start/end date, if necessary. Note, that reminders work only for upcoming events.

Users with access permissions can assign users to the roles, by clicking and selecting a user.
Portlet buttons:
– collapse the portlet.
– expand the portlet.
This portlet does not have custom settings.

Project Plan portlet

This portlet (fig. 3) displays all the tasks, scheduled in the project plan. When you click the portlet name, the project plan opens.

Click on one of the tasks to go to its page.
Portlet buttons:
– collapse the portlet.
– expand the portlet.
This portlet does not have custom settings.

Budget portlet

This portlet (fig. 4) displays the project budget. When you click the portlet name, the project budget opens.

To open the page of one of the revenue or expense items, click its name.
Portlet buttons:
– collapse the portlet.
– expand the portlet.
This portlet does not have custom settings and is available only to the users with the respective access permissions.
