Sub-Project

A sub-project is a project plan task, which has a due date and sub-tasks of different types. A sub-project has the icon in a project plan and in the Tasks section.
Fig. 1 shows an example of a sub-project page in Web Application.

Toolbar buttons
The toolbar buttons are similar to those in a project task toolbar. However, there are additional buttons: To project and Configure notifications. Besides, the Actions button has several additional menu items.
Return to the main page of the current project.
When you click Actions or  a menu opens, which allows you to:
Configure notifications about the task that the current user gets. This button is available only to the sub-project author and is displayed regardless of sub-tasks.
When you click this button, the following window will open (fig. 2). Choose the required settings and click Apply. In this pop-up, you can turn off unnecessary notifications.

The About Task tab (fig. 1) shows brief information about the sub-project (project, due date, author, executors, task creation date, status, approved time reports and their estimate) and history panel of the task.
The Plan tab (fig. 3) shows the calendar type schedule of the sub-project, which consists of a task list and a Gantt chart. Work with this tab in the same way as with the project plan page.

The Time Reports tab is displayed only after hours have been submitted on this task. To learn more, see the respective Help page.
The Roles tab (fig. 4) shows the users assigned to the project roles. If you have access permissions, you can assign users to roles by clicking   and selecting the required user.
This tab is similar to the panel in the General Information portlet. It also features an additional link to the project page.
