Project Task

Project task – is a task, scheduled in the plan of a project. Project tasks are displayed in the project plan with the icon. The system also allows creating regular user tasks, related to a project, which is not displayed in the project plan.
The task page (fig. 1) displays the full information on this task.

Toolbar buttons
The set of top menu buttons is similar to the one of the user task page. There are also additional Back and Edit buttons, and capabilities of the Actions button.
Return to the project plan page
Open the editing page of the project plan task. This button is available only to the task author and supervisor.
When you click Actions or , a drop-down menu opens, which allows you to:

Project task page tabs
This page may include the following tabs: About Task, Parent Task, Sub-Tasks, and Time Report. The About Task tab (fig. 1) displays information on the current task (project, due date, completion rate, author and executors, task creation date, status, planned and approved time report hours), and the history panel.
The Parent task tab (fig. 2) is displayed only if the task has a parent task (is a sub-task). This tab displays information on the parent task (project, end date, completion rate, author and controller, creation date, status, plan time report).

The Sub-Tasks tab displays all the sub-tasks of the current task, including milestones. However, this tab does not display Business Process start tasks.
The Time Report tab becomes available after a time report on this task has been submitted. To learn more, see the respective Help page.
