In ELMA, you can start a project process. This feature is available, if you select a Project type variable as the input variable in the business process context. You also have to add this business process to the required project type on the Flows (processes)tab. If you do that, the Start Process button will appear on the project page (fig. 1). By default, this button is not on the panel.

When you click this button, a dialog box for starting a business process opens (fig. 2), where you have to fill in all the required fields and click Send.

Process Instance Name – enter the process instance name. If the process contains a process instance name template, then this field will be completed automatically. The field is required.
Process *– select the business process to start. The list displays all the added processes.
After you click Send, a new process instance will be created and the executors will receive their tasks.
