This activity starts the project plan approval task in the web application. The task executor is defined by the swimlane, in which the activity is located.
To configure this activity, double click on it in the graphic model or select Settings in its context menu. The dialog box for configuring this activity (fig. 2) includes these tabs: Common, Execution Time, Context.

Common tab
Name – activity name. This name is displayed on the process graphic model in the web application as the plan approval task name and in the header of the settings window. This field is required.
Description – activity description.
The context variable referring to the project plan – process context variable aligned with the project plan. The variable in this field must be of the Project Plandata type.
Availability on external devices and applications – indicates, whether this activity can be executed via ELMA mobile application.
The Execution Time tab is similar to the Execution Time tab of the Make Decision activity.
The Context tab is similar to the Context tab of the Send for Approvalactivity.
Project Plan Approval Task in the Process
The process task of approving a project plan is similar to the project approval task created in the web application. However, the Project Plan Approval Task in the Process has additional History tab and a button to move to the next task. The transition buttons have the same functions as the Approve and Reject buttons on the top menu. Below you can see a page of the task to Approve the Project Plan Version (fig.3).
