Publishing a Project Plan

You have to publish the project plan to save and apply the changes you made. After each time you edit a project plan, you have to publish it.
Users, with permissions to edit the project plan, can publish it. If you have configured project plan approval setting on the General tab in the project type settings, then project plan approval may be required before publishing.
There are several ways to publish a project plan:
The system may display Project plan publication errors dialog box (fig. 5, 6, 7). This dialog box can include combinations of the following tabs: Warnings , Active Processes and No Access Permissions . The set of tabs depends on the errors occurred.
The Warnings tab (fig. 5) displays the list of all the conflicts, occurred during publishing of the project plan.

The Active Processes tab (fig. 6) displays the list of Start Business Process tasks, whose process instances are not completed. If you need to complete the processes, check their boxes. If no task is selected, all the process instances will be continued. When you click on a task or a process instance name, the page of this task or process instance opens.

The No Access Permissions tab (fig. 7) displays the list of users, selected as the project task executors, but who are not the project team members. To add a user to the Team Members role, check the Add to team members box. If the user is not added to the team members, they will not have access to the project tasks. When you click on the user name, a dialog box with the information on the user opens.
